When fall and winter roll around, we start to dream of booking a trip to a picturesque A-frame cabin, but oftentimes, never do it because we don’t know what they’re called or where they are! That’s why we’ve taken the time to do the research, and have compiled a list of the 7 best A-frames in the U.S.A.

Located in the Sierra National Forest, a stay at this A-frame cabin brings vast meadows and towering trees right to your backyard! Completely secluded in nature, you’ll feel as though you’ve escaped reality and entered into a whole other world. There’s so much to explore, from secret swimming holes to scenic hiking trails, and it’s only 90 minutes from the heart of Yosemite Valley! You’ve probably come across these gorgeous A-frames at some point while scrolling through Instagram or pinning on Pinterest — their quaint feel and sleek style make them simply irresistible. Nestled along the Tye River in Washington, are three little A-frames, that provide the perfect cabin getaway. Choose between Tye Haus, Sky Haus, and Foss Haus, all of which are equally cozy and stunning, and get ready to escape in to nature for a couple nights. Located just outside of Skyomish, these cabins not only provide gorgeous pine-views, but also some incredible adventures including — hot springs, hikes, and so much more. They’re definitely worth all the “pins” and “likes” on Instagram!

Speaking from experience, this is one of the best A-frame cabins we have ever had the pleasure of visiting.

Not to mention there’s also a gorgeous hot spring waiting for those who book here. However, it’ll cost you a pretty penny to stay a night or two!
